Quiz_Master... Logging Off!
It's 13th March, 3:30PM when I'm writing this blog entry (It's a scheduled post). It's been busy days. I just got my JAM09 Admit card. That means MCA entrance exam (and semester finals) are close now and I must work hard now or as Mehulved puts it, "I should get my a$$ off internet". So, time to say bye for now. I will be back in three months after my entrance and semester exams.
Will miss ya'll. Logging Out.
EDIT :
Well, You might be thinking why I need to go offline for some silly exams?
Well, I've JAM (for IIT-R and Delhi University), JNUEE (For MCA in JNU, Delhi), Amity Entrance, KIIT Entrance, BHU MCA Entrance, AIMCAT (All India MCA Common Entrance Test), Pre-MCA Test (of my state), VIT MCA Entrance and a couple more. I also need to give recertification exam for CCNA(Before October).
Getting into a A grade university is life n death matter to me (And I will be getting A Dell XPS M1730 laptop worth Rs.121,900, If I get myself into JNU or IIT). SERIOUSLY. So Off I Go.

Watchmen [Movie Review]
I didn't play holi because I hate it. Instead I spent my time watching few episodes (actually whole season) of The Big Bang Theory. And then I watched WATCHMEN.

From left to Right: The Comedian, Ozymandias, NightOwl, Silk Spectre, Rorschach
Now I've read the Comi... err I mean Graphic Novel already. And apart from climax, everything is true to Graphic Novel.
Story : Most comics fanatics already know the story, so there is no point describing it. If you havn't read the Watchmen yet, then just watch movie and save time. It's about a group of retired Superheroes called Watchmen. The story is narrated from the perspective of a number of characters like Rorschach and NightOwl. A member - The Comedian, dies and thus begins our story....
Charachters : When I first heard that there is going to be a Watchmen movie, My reaction was how can you give every character enough screen time that it deserve? Watchmen proves that it can be done. Every character is so detailed.
A.) Ozymandias (Matthew Goode) is World's Smartest Man (and also World's Richest Man). He was responisble for organizing the Watchmen II group. He doesn't get much screen time, but he plays a very importent role in story nevertheless.
B.) Nite Owl (Patrick Wilson) is like, Batman with Gadgets but without Detective Skills. He doesn't get to do much things in movie except making out with a SuperHeroine, throwing a few punches here and there and crying like a whiney grownup baby.
C.) Silk Spectre (Carla Gugino) is a SuperHeroine and your average girl confused between this boy and that boy. Did I mention she's hot? No? Ok! She's hot specially in her yellow-black suit. She only has one action scene (actually two *action* scenes) but her role is not small. (I am trying my best to not post any spoiler).
D.) The Comedian (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) : Who's Jeffrey Dean Morgan? He's Jon Winchester father of Sam and Dean Winchester from TV show Supernatural. The Comedian's character is like Harvey Dent's character in reverse. First you'll hate him. You'll think - Thats not hero. That's a Bad Guy. But as story goes, you'll find that he's not what it seems. Nobody is not what they seem.
[In a SuperHero meeting :]
Ozymandias: It doesn't take a genius to see the world has problems.
The Comedian: No, but it takes a room full of morons to think they're small enough for them to handle.
E.) Dr. Manhattan (Billy Crudup) or Jon Osterman was a nuclear scientist. An accident changed him into a glowing blue God like entity with ability to see future and control the nuclear particles. He is immortal and can change his size and density. In short - He is Invincible and yeah, he doesn't wear underwear.
F.) Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley) is the most impressive character of the movie wearing a black-white mask. He is 10X darker and 100X more violent version of Batman. He's the first one to figure out what's going on. His interrogation skills are just like batman's. First half of movie is narrated by him. Definitely an Oscar level performance.
Rorschach: [reading from journal] Rorschach's Journal: October 12th 1985. Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!' And I'll whisper 'no'.
Background Score : The background score is composed by Composer Tyler Bates and he did an accelent job doing it. It's just perfect for the movie. For instance in a scene where Night Owl and Silk Spectre rescue people from a burning building, he's used four to the floor guitar rhythm to give it a treditional SuperHero action scene feel. Me likes the OST!
This is a Must Watch Movie and in my opinion better then The Dark Knight in some (well most) ways.
My Rating :: 10/10. (What can I say, I'm really really impressed.)
Goofups : You might want to read this section after watching movie. Here's a list of goofs I noticed when Watching Movie.
1.) Movie is set in 1985, but most of the cars and gadgets you see in movie are quite advanced for that time.
2.) When NightOwl breaks into Ozymandias's office and tries to hack his 'Desktop Computer', he's shown using a two button mouse and a keyboard with 'enter' key. In 1985 they didn't have two button mouse.
3.) In a scene "Addicted to Love" song's videos is on TV screen. The song was released in 1986, while the movie takes place in 1985.

My Evil Plans for the future
My objective is simple: Dominate the World (and the eyeland of Lost TV show and The Prison Fox River).
My motive is a little bit more complex: Sadistic pleasure
Stage One
To begin my plan, I must first incapacitate a rich and powerful CEO(Who? Voting is on. To Vote for Stevewy Jobs forward any SMS to 000-000-101 by an iPhone (GoodLuck with that), to vote for Steve Bomber, email Microsoft from a gmail account). This will cause the world to slaughter a sacred calf to appease the gods, terrified by my arrival. Who is this unholy menace? Where did he come from? And why do he look so good in a corporate suit?
Stage Two
Next, I must destroy the internet and the pink "Prn" sites (After backing up data from my social networking accounts, can't loose 5K+ tweets and countless scraps in Orkut). This will all be done from a space station, a mysterious place of unrivaled dark glory. Upon seeing this, the world will wet their pants, as countless hordes of classic thugs hasten to do your every bidding.
Stage Three
Finally, I must unleash My doomsday device (which is shaped like an illegit child of Wall-E's Eve and a pocket calculator, and no! I am not talking about iPod), bringing about nightmares for every man, woman and child. My name shall become synonymous with slaughter, and no man and woman will ever again dare roll his or her eyes. Everyone will bow before mine mind-boggling insanity, and the world will have no choice but to give me control of the planet.

What's going on with NSG
The invincibility of NSG (National Security Guard) and their unrivalled professionalism to achieve their basic objective of safeguarding the people and our country from terrorists and other enemies has been demonstrated from time to time and we all accept this. Their superb role in latest Mumbai attack of 26/11 is a clear testimony when others were unable to tackle the terrorists NSG has only served to highlight their invincibility and their presence in all major cities of India because we saw in Mumbai that a lot of time was unnecessarily wasted for the NSG commandos in travelling from Delhi to Mumbai. This could have been avoided if the NSG were deployed in Mumbai prior to terrorist attacks and this city would not have been held to ransom by terrorists.
The NSG was set up in 1984ing (Punjab was burning from terrorism that time) as a federal contingency deployment force primarily to handle terrorism situation after the State Police and other forces raised their hands in despair. It was modeled on the pattern of the SAS of UK.
There are grand plans to set up four regional centers for the NSG across India but as the elite commando force is working out on how best to implement the proposal, the logistical challenges such as tremendous shortage of military personnel and lack of suitable sites are coming to fore. NSG’s garrison at Manesar in Gurgaon is the sole training facility right now which is spread over an area of 1,600 acres. Also NSG’s anti-hijack teams are stationed at Samalkha in New Delhi, which is located close to Airport. According to NSG officials Mumbai and Kolkata will house a regional centre each, while the toss up or choice for other two centers will be between Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and My state’s Bhopal.
NSG is however most affected by the fact that it would need to induct at least 4000 personnel from Indian Army and central paramilitary forces to man the new regional centers. According to a NSG officer: “Each of these four new centers need to have strength of two battalions, roughly 1000 men, to begin with. With the army and Paramilitary forces already feeling a staff crunch, it will be difficult for them to spare volunteers for deputation with NSG”
