Delhi Blasts : United We Stand!
Today, 13 September, 2008, 6:15 PM A blast in Karol Bagh (Delhi) shook whole India. And in 45 minutes total of 5 blasts killed 18 innocent peoples. More then 100 people got badly injured. Indian Mujahidin takes the responsibility.
I recieved the news through SMS update from twitter. My 1st response was to check that my friends are ok or not. Called friends on mobiles/landlines. Two of them said they were fine as they live far from affected areas. But one of my friend lives near Connaught Place. Till writing this she made no contact with me. I tried Landline, Mobile everything. I got message of line busy. I just hope she is OK. We were not talking for some days for a stupid reason. If anything happened to her, I dunno how will I face myself. Checked #think-digit IRC channel. Everything OK.
Turned on the news channel and it was horrible. Blood Spilled on roads, people crying... In within 1 hour mothers lost their sons, wives lost their husbands.
But then I saw people helping each other in the crowd. People supporting each other. No matter hindu, no matter muslim or sikh or christian. These blast made everyone a victim. Torrorism never targets a country or religion. It targets whole human race. I saw sadness in people's eyes, but I saw a rage against terrorism too. I saw tear in people's eyes but I saw hope and a spark too. A spark that we won't get scared by those Terrorists. We are United against them. NO MATTER WHAT!
Ofcourse how these blasts happened in the first place puts government, police and intelligence agencies in question. Delhi was allready on High Alert they say? What High alert means? a bunch of fat-ass hawaldars with a danda (stick) eyeing every car that pass by? Why not a single politicians ever get injured in these blasts? Cause they are always safe in their house sleeping like lazy assholes. Police? They are as lazy as politicians. I say suspend all those policeman who are supposed to be petroling areas where blasts happened. Suspend the incharge of police stations of those area too. Maybe they will do this too... But that wont bring back people who died. When terroists attecked America (9/11), ameicans declared war against terrorism. Why India is being a pussy? I say kill those bastards. We know EXACTLY where they are..dont we?
Its time we people take matters into hand. These politicians won't do anything unless we do something big to wake them up. My idea? A Strike. A Nationwide strike of Public-Private both sectors (excluding medical facilities ofcurse). That will teach them.
Anyway... We should not get scared by those torrorists. Lets be united. Lets show them the power of 1.15 billion Indians.

I'm Sorry to hear about the blasts. Hope your friend is alright.
Your emotions seem to be speaking for you. Keeping public places safe from such attacks isn't very easy, unless policemen are searching your possesions and you at every turn. You don't expect policemen to carry james bond weapons and see through glasses, they too are humans afterall. (perhaps not efficient as their counterparts in developed countries)
The 'Indian' mujahedeen has claimed responsibility. Are we supposed to bomb ourselves? Even if our neighbours are responsible, we'd still be risking a nuclear war, if we acted like the US did on taliban. I think such things have to be thought through calmly.
A nation-wide strike (especially of medical facilities) will only affect us citizens and not politicians.

Declaring a war like US will be a disaster. Several innocent people will be killed for without any reasons.
One thing that can uproot it is basic human values which we have lost. Truth, honesty and love. Its easy for one to sold his soul today for money. I wonder who was that person !

I was supposed to be there in CP but in the last minute we changed our plans and did not go there...but I am still not happy...coz someone else did go there and suffered...what is the point of doing all this? Who benefits in this terrorism? With each such dastardly act if something dies that is humanity ...and the biggest loss is the trust that we have on each other and fellow humans...
